I think I get the question - the answer as to why chorae can be 'holy' is basically, much in the same way the gods can't see the consult (ie, they have perceptual blindspots), the gods. Are. Hackable.

The 'holy' items are forced into existance.

I'd probably agree with the idea that sorcerers are 'damned' simply because of mass murder and the judgement mechanism in Earwa - however, what generally happens when you undermine and hijack the power that authorities have? They tend to turn the remainder of their power against you, in rather disproportional amount to the amount of power you stole/hijacked from them, don't they.

Sorcerers are 'damned' because you don't fuck with authority. Because authority.
