Was not the original Esmi the wife or lover of the guy who literally stuck his face in the fire at Husyelt's suggestion?  If so, what does that mean?
Yep. She was the wife of Angeshrael. Who was ultimately doing the Inchoroi's bidding in leading the Tribes of Men into Earwa.
Wow really? I'm irritated I missed that. Very interesting.

Yeah Madness, far far too obvious. We're going to have to go deeper.

Not obvious at all--considering you have to connect the dots from:

random mentions by skinspies in some books of an unexplained phenomenon the inverse fire

a random mention of the story of husyelt in one book which implies a literal interpretation of fire, despite fire behaving in a non-fire fashion within the confines of the story.

detailed explanation of inverse fire not available in the published books, only available to those scouring the online realms like one with a metal detector.

But sure, from your perspective it may be obvious.  It seems insanely fucking obscure from any other perspective.

Thanks, lockesnow.

This is actually a good segue for discussing occurrence in fiction.

There is very little an author can add to a story, which is truly frivolous. While irrelevancies can arise in the course of the narrative context, usually, everything hides some intentional purpose on the part of author. There aren't enough irrelevancies to warrant, or manifest misleading narratives, unless that is what the author intended...

Especially, Bakker.

Asimov comes to mind as one example who actually took the time to insert unneccessary dialogue, if only to counteract the fact that fictive dialogue is, inherently, unnatural and articulate.

But I hear ya. We all embody the madness, after all - I just took it as my moniker.
