This is one of the few things that didn't make much sense to me...Maybe it's something to be explored in the future? 
 
So after the first apocalypse, what do the Consult do? I had an impression they went into hiding, but then I remember they only dissapeared like 300 years ago. 
 
I have read the timeline(http://princeofnothing.wikia.com/wiki/Timeline) And there's no mention of them for almost 2000 years. Where they hiding the whole time?

They weren't hiding, they were simply too far away. Their ability to manipulate the Sranc are ad hoc and very limited.

Were they not waging some sort of war with the Mandate in Atrithau for some of it. As the Mandate went there went off the grid 300 years previous to the start of the PON.
