Well, agreed and I bet the author of this list would agree with you. It's more of discussion on books that have impacted our society and captures the history of the intellect in a fun way. The Sound and the Fury would have been at the top of the list if I were designing one. I think the list is valid, but not accurate if that makes any sense ( no list would be ).

Two too many, imho, but certainly one would be plenty. At least the Nichomachean Ethics made the cut; surprised the hell out of me.

Might be more appropriately titled "books americans should read". There's nothing particularly unique about this list. Though I haven't read many of them the titles appear on a lot of '100 books to read', at least those lists that are curated by white american males lol.
