The mystery of anarcane ground awaits future installments, I fear!

I've been approached by numerous people over the years interested in video game and graphic novel adaptations, but no one with the resources I think are required to do the series right.

They weren't hiding, they were simply too far away. Their ability to manipulate the Sranc are ad hoc and very limited.

Feels right, given all that I've roughed out. You play it by ear, let the story decide, but since people are always asking you for numbers, you periodically have to pull one out your ass!

As I think I mentioned in response to Locke's question on topos, the boundaries between the World and the Outside can also wear then with individuals, and not simply places. Those souls that are too strong to eat, that go on to become Ciphrang, sometimes begin the transition before they kick the bucket.

I actually wrote out a more extended version of the Cishaurim attack way back when. They actually penetrated Kiz, evaded all the Wards. From the perspective of the Scarlet Schoolmen, it simply seemed as if they came out of nowhere.

In other words, why not pillars of pepper? I'm just riffing on Biblical themes, here, is all.

He's a normal soul with a life and a young family. Of all the fudging one finds in religious narratives, none are so egregious as the intersections between the eternal and the temporal. The difficulty we have understanding the WLW and the role of the gods more generally lies in my attempt to square this circle.

Transgression, and how representations of transgression can themselves transgress. And all the paradoxes of meaning dissected through the course of the previous books...

I don't want to say too much more. I want you to have fresh eyes when I have this latest draft done!

Morality is objective, so it doesn't matter what Men believe. Lies are also objective, insofar as they a powerful impact on the reality around them, and insofar as they are sinful. They don't become true so much as determine what is taken to be true. Lies are sins precisely because they have real consequences.

Author Q&A / Re: Nonmen Schools.

The Quya are primarily artisans. In many ways, their familial and feudal bonds predominate to such an extent that lateral social relations are rarely institutionalized as they are among Men. 'Quyan Schools' can only really refer overlapping spheres of cooperation and concern. You could say they're all Wizards, only so long lived as to become Schools unto themselves.

I dunno. It's a product of the same mad tizzy that wrote (and rewrote) TGO.

I'm a big fan of mad tizzies!

You're going to like the first Epigraph of TGO!

You mean creation storieS, of course. There's just been no call for bringing any of them up in the story.
