Stoneweilder was the last I read. I have Orb, Sceptre, Throne and I really need to read it. I should've stuck with the reading order, but I just wanted to finish up The Book of the Fallen, badly. I'm on the last book of The Long Price Quartet, just started it. I think I will pick up OST when done, man a lot of memories flood back just thinking about where I'd pick up at. Pickled Seguleh, anyone?

In the TTT almanac it say that Nin'janjin struck down CC. Is that who your referring to?

I agree, can't take what he says at face value, that's for sure.

@sharmat, yes that's why I was asking the question, to be honest. Someone at Westeros suggested that the Norman emissary might be aligned with the Consult for that reason. And that's what prompted to understand why? Wilshire, that's how I read it, but I don't believe the emissary has the 'jin in the same place, and don't see how you can just assume he is from Nin'janjin seed. I didn't think there was some obvious connection, though I could be wrong.

Can someone please explain the 'jin=treachery & betrayal? Is it because the one Norman who turned to the Consult (Nin'janjin' I believe), and killed Cu'jara Cinmoi,  so it's anyone from his seed? Or,  that it's a suffix they attach to the name of a traitor or turncloak?

Thank you, yes when I got to MoI, I knew I was stuck. So, from there I just plunged into it. The one after HoC, cant recall the name at the moment, I started getting bogged down everytime I started a new book. It doesn't change, all his books follow the same pattern. Slow the first half, then the last 3-400 pages he smacks ya in the face over and over and over. For as long as a series that it was, you'd think he would run out of material to keep things interesting, not the case, wasn't a book I truly didn't like. But, there was certainly stretches that I felt like dropping em' and giving it a rest, I just slogged through. Wanted to get em done and move on. Still, I believe it had an incredible ending, and was nothing that I would of expected.

This series took me about 10 months to finish, including some of the ICE books, not all. I loved it, and about after HoC, I always said I would give it a break after every book, to clear my head. Never did, as you guys have said, they way the books are structured, the endings always had me thirsting for more. I was happy and a little exhausted when I finished. Great ride though!

General Earwa / Re: Crazy Ass Speculation Thread

My crazy ass speculation is that Kelmommas will kill the WLW. I've thrown this out at Westeros and never got any input back on it. First, Kel and WLW are obviously both in Momemn so the setting allows it. What I envision is that the WLW will be waiting in Esement's bedroom to kill her. And, Kel will be in the hidden tunnels and will see him. And, we don't have to discuss the links he will go to protect his mothers love. He'll sneak up on him and skewer him in the eye. His traditional method. I don't see the WLW killing the Anasurimbor family, he'll be stopped, and this is in my mind, the most likely outcome.

Malazan had little touch here and there about evolution. I mean, the subject wasn't delved into extensively, but there was mention of the E'sra (sp?), who was there in the dreams or warrens or what the hell ever! I'm confused now! Longest read I've ever done.

LOL, ummm, you know how kids love for ya to do a beast impersonation? Well, I do my best Cnauir, "I am Cnaüir urs Skiötha, and I am the breaker of horses and men!", then let a big roooooaaaaaaaaar! The kids love it, and when we're having Battle Royale everynight after bath time, my lil girl says daddy do your Nar Kikoka, gotta love em. And it totally takes your daddy strength to another level.

BEAUTIFUL - wish i could go back in time and do this!

at my house, i tease my daughter that the only way to stop the No-God is to make him face a gabby, obnoxious adolescent   (this is revenge for telling me that The Unholy Consult is never coming out)

LOL! As Madness says " 2015 Year of Bakker"

Thanks Madness, wasn't sure. Is adding spoiler tags the same as westeros? That information might be available, haven't seen it, if so could you direct me please?
