Yeah I really like the Cnaiur. It's not very far off from my own imagining of him (though I always imagined him with a long, Conan the Barbarian style mane.

That is a great depiction of Akka. This is pretty close to what I imagine he looked like somewhere midway through Judging Eye. Old, and generally melancholy.

Its the spirit of Mim's sword...

(or if Redwall was grimdark)

Looks like I'm on a No-God kick...  Concept of the Carapace.

Really love the spirit of Mimara's sword...
I would love to read a Grimdark Redwall... Squirrels versus the NoSquirrels and the like... haha.
Also, that is a really cool concept of the Carapace, Som.
Here is a quick sketch of Cu'Jara Cinmoi I did today.

Why do you link it like that? I can't easily backtrack to your gallery that way :P

Looks good, though the smile creeps me out.

Great stuff as always Somm. I like the newest No-God piece a lot, especially the glowing golden parts. Even though it's never described in the text whatsoever, for some reason I've always imagined the Carapace glowed in some fashion, and the light would pulse in sequence with it speaking.

Just thought of some two interesting juxtaposed scenes.

Akka cradling Zin's head in the dungeons, eyes burned and blackened, and Elazarus holding Iyokus when he stumbles back from Akka, sockets gouged and bleeding.
