I was truly SHOCKED in that scene. Also who the hell is Wllis his name is Walder. The flashback was awesome, Sansa,Arya and Tyrion had great scenes oh and King's Landing  too.Tommen is Making orders and taking names but Tommen wasn't the only star in King's Landing there was also our favourite Mountain.

Just needed to share my conniving.  A good friend of my owns a chain of bookstores on Long Island.  I have him on tab usually to get ARCs for books that pique my interest(They get ARCs by the crate-load that they never even have time to read).  Not especially noteworthy given my relationship with him, but I did call in a favor for a TGO copy.  With every intention of buying a half-dozen copies with the official release, I can't help but exult in getting my grubby hands on the goods ~2 months early.
Where do you live??  I want to kill and rob congratulate you.

Anything/everything from the Q/A subforum.

Does the Psukhe have a major role yet to be revealed, outside of Meppa and his Cataracts?

Do you have any expectation to write TSTSNBN sometimes this decade?

Is there are particular sales number you need to hit from TGO/TUC to continue writing full time? If so, what is it, and do you realistically think you can reach it?

In a previous interview you mentioned Neuropath might not have come to exist if you hadn't published it before having Ruby. Has TSA story changed in scope, concept, or depiction in a similar fashion?

Is there anything fans can do to encourage more interactions between you and them?

Are there any stories, shorts or full books, that you'd like to tell within the Earwa universe, before writing TSTSNBN?

Outside of Earwa, do you plan to publish any other fiction/fantasy/sci-fi in the near future?

If you could choose any publisher, who would it be an why?

Have you/would you considered publishing a short run of limited edition with someone like Subterranean Press or Easton Press?

After so many years and so many books, do you feel invigorated by the imminent publication of TUC and ready to write more, or do you feel like you'd like to take a break from writing for a while?

Daily, how much fan mail, or how many emails, do you think you get? What % do you personally respond to, if any?

How many hours a week have you dedicated to writing since the release of WLW?

Why has the release between WLW and TGO been longer than the releases of any other sequels?

What has been the worst/hardest decision you have been forced to make through the editing process?
Has anything come to light through the editing process that has made the books better than they would have otherwise been?

When, and in what city, does your book/signing tour start? How many stops do you plan to make?

What book that you have written has been your favorite so far, and why?

Great,great questions Wilshire.

Damn, misquote. Its a scylvendi proverb that shows up in one of the chapter headers of TTT
Quote
To indulge it is to breed it.  To punish it is to feed it.  Madness knows no bridle but the knife.
   —SCYLVENDI PROVERB
It seemed familliar. I like those chapter headers very much.

Too much revelations... indeed it was great though.

When it comes to revelations, my hunger knows no bounds,  ;)

Madness said to me that we are not ready for the revelations in TGO and TUC...
To fight it is to feed it, to ignore it is to breed it. Madness knows no bridle but the knife.

Ha, I think you are right.

Indeed.  Along a similar line, Aurang is my favorite character.

I will say i always like and anticipate the birds sections.

I Liked Aurang and his bird form.

Yeah, always so chock full of tasty morsels of information.

The part where he lists all his "exploits" is great too.

Out of the mains, Achamian, he's the anchor of the series to me. He's so disillusioned with the world and his life at the beginning then comes to find love and faith, only to have it torn away from him, along with what remains of his sanity. Not to mention the circumstances. He realizes Esmenet truly loves him only because of the reality that the Second Apocalypse is beginning (and she believes him. And he finds belief in the man who has seduced and impregnated his wife. Akka's story is the embodiment of the epic absurdity that defines the series.

My favorite character to read though might be Eleazarus. His arrogance and obsession with jnan made him so fun to read, not to mention the contradiction that he's supposed to be someone who knows what's going on behind the scenes yet he's so clearly been played.

Akka is the main character of the series but he has been betrayed and broken.Maybe he can find a happy ending after all but I think that he will die "Sobs"
Eleazeras has been largely decived. His sections has been fun to read though.

I think that Leweth was the learning object for Kellhus. I actually liked Leweth alot, he is better than 99% of the population of Earwa. In Earwa you don't just help a stranger who has no food nor drink and will only complicate things for you and besides this stranger can probably be dead.Serwe was just a whore ( I hope that there is no feminists here ) for Kelllhus to have some fun and take some additional control besides.

Well, I do believe Leweth to be one of the better humans we encounter in the books, we know sooo little of the day to day life of Earwa. We just are not told anything about the population. We don't see very much, if any, of the mundane. And, I believe there is more to Serwe than "just" a whore. Bakker once commented, that in a way she could be the most important character in the books. Locke has some great posts on this, and I think what makes her so important is the utter belief she shows in Kellhus. She might have just made him the Warrior Prophet.

Most of the series is about a huge army marching and fighting big battles so we don't know much about the low people, Akka's memories can indicate that they weren't the worst people but then we have the Men of the Tusk... If what you say about Serwe is true then you have just given me another reason to hate her  ;D

Oh, I like Akka. He's just not one of my favorites. I really enjoy Mimara though, in terms of less morally problematic protagonists.

Serwë was just a vessel for Kellhus. A weak and stupid person. But an important object lesson.

Yes, when I first read TDTCB, Akka was the character the kept me going. I couldn't stand Kellhus and all of his psychological musings and such.
Kellhus was interesting, mysterious but interesting. He was not the character you would like and root for though.

Lol - oh, we got a lot of love for Achamian too. Pretty much any character who... resists (probably the wrong word) the Dunyain to any degree. Any character Dunyain + 1 remove are some of the most tested, most interesting, and most resilient (or not) characters in fiction I've ever read about.
My two other favourites are Esmenet,Mimara and Proyas but i would have liked them more if they resisted. The character that i hate more than anyone is Serwe. When she died my happines was something that will not be matched in my life but this will change when TGO is released.Hell even the cool guys in Glgotterath are more likeable than this.....Woman.

Cnaiur urs Skiotha, the Most Violent of All Men. Who'd have thought such a touching and sometimes horrifying personal story would come from a barbarian chief archetype. Cleric is pretty awesome too.
Cnaiur ehhh i liked him in TDTCB  but when he starts to get mad in TWP and the Conphas rape scenes and then skin spy Serwe errr. However i will admit shedding a tear for him in TTT. He is really tragic.I agree about Cleric.

Welcome to the Second Apocalypse, Redeagl. Glad you made it.
;) :) Thanks again for the help

I concur with @The Sharmat! Yatwer's Baby Daddy is my favorite nickname for CuS. His story gets me every time. From his teaching Kellhus the art of war, to the madness that sends him spiralling out of control, enough so to make Love to a skin spy. Think about that.....that's madness.

ETA: Also, welcome to SA!
Thank you.Looks like Cnaiur is a big favourite here.I liked his interactions with Kellhus ( I used to like Kellhus before TTT)  No love for old Akka ?
