I'd be interested to see how they profile the group of people that are like myself and attempt to avoid most forms of social media and have anti-tracking junk on their computer to try and keep private things private.

Probably just requires a large database of disparate, individual, data points rather than just  [run script] get info on Wilshire for advertisement[/script]. Strangely, its comforting getting adds for things I find totally disinterested - or when I can clearly identify where they got which point of data.

Often, it seems, when I do screw up and google ad sense gets a datapoint, I see nothing but that particular thing for months and months. Makes me feel like the 'wilshire' profile is currently distributed in such a way as to be inconvenient for tracking down.
