I hope they can get a Kindle version up so I can skip the delivery anxiety and just start at midnight.

That's called cheating Bolivar, you have to sit around and wait like the rest of us. Only heretics would read it at midnight, we would have to scourge you in the old way.
The world holds no terrors for me, I stand naked as the falling sword, I am the Terror.

I neither beg nor expect your pardon: It is our doom to suffer the consequences of our acts, regardless of the piety of our intentions.

I don't think I've ever seen an only hardcover release by Bakker before, to be honest. Penguin always released a paperback of some sort.
The Existential Scream
Weaponizing the Warrior Pose - Declare War Inwardly
carnificibus: multus sanguis fluit
Die Better
The Theory-Killer

Pretty typical in the US to have  hardcover initial release

Never buy anything from Overlook Press if it can be avoided.
One of the other conditions of possibility.

I read outside, usually on patios or around a fire, whenever it's not the wintry overcast of Canada's main season. My all-time favorite nostalgic spot to read was a tree-branch about 10 feet up in our front yard when I was 6-12.

But I absolutely do recommend - obviously - that you read the next volume somewhere undisturbed with whatever assortment of complimentary vices your reading experience demands.

A round table read-a-long with the sultry sounds of Madness and MG as narrator.

I'VE GRADUATED TO SULTRY!  FUCK YEAH!
