I think Tsuor is another anomaly with the sight of the Few.

It's strange to me that skin spies are non-sorcerous but can see Chigra.

Why can the skin spies see 'Chigra'?

That whole thing about a skin spy not being able to hold a paradox strikes me as odd.  Seems like a cunning parrot ought to be able to provide the right answer without knowing what it means.  Perhaps Kellhus told Mimara about the paradox thing as a way to condition her towards engaging in conversation with skin spies or one particular skin spy who knows that he needs to answer incorrectly in order prove something to her?

Wheels within wheels...

But I like to put the Consult and their machines outside of Kellhus' sphere of influence. This is probably a fallacy, but thats what I like.

Fun Tsuor facts.

He was actually assigned to watch Nil'Giccas.
He wants Kosoter dead to deprive Cleric of his Elju, his conversations with Mimara are aimed at undermining Cleric's plans/mission.
He copies Mimarra to show her to Aurang.
He recognizes Akka.
His meeting with the synthese is his *first* report to Golgotteroth since the skin eater's were 'employed' by Akka.

3. I've wondered if this extends to women in Mimara's matrilineal line... because I've never been settled with why the Consult protected Esmenet - for the same reasons?
4-5. The Consult wasn't watching Achamian before. This seems important. Kellhus must have plans of horror and wonder planned for Achamian, if he's supposed to do Kellhus' black ops sleeper agent work.

Thinking about the mysterious prophecy that Tsuor is abiding by--it's got to be something that fits what he know about mimara, and i don't know that he knows she has TJE, so maybe the prophecy foretells the coming of some combination of the stuff on this list:

- a pregnant woman
- in the company of a mandati
- with the gift of the few
- pregnant with the mandati's kid (could he smell that?)
- trekking northward
- daughter of anasurimbor/consult enemy
- able to do sweet things with a chorae
- eating qirri while pregnant
- traveling with a nonman

Still weird: who would prophesy to the Consult/Inchoroi?  Is it like Sil's dying words--parallel to the Celmomian Prophecy?

"Aurang, I see him!  Little Mog will be born to the daughter of human whore!  He says such sweet things to me, every womb become a grave, every nation given over to murdering lust, every god chained in darkness!"

EDIT: If you cut off the Outside from the World, do the gods eventually starve for lack of food?  The No-God brings about the situation of 'no gods.'

This bit from the end of WLW stirred my mind:

The skin-spy saves Mimara but is fatally wounded.  It's trying to say something to her and she asks it "Who?  Who is your handler?" as if that were a question that had been part of her imperial training, as if it had a plain answer.  Perhaps the skin-spy is going to tell her the answer, but he's hacked to death by Sarl.

Is Sarl the thing's handler?  Did Sarl kill it to protect the handler's identity?  Quite convenient! I know there's someone, someone who loves to use ignorance as a tool and wants to keep Mimara and Akka in the dark...

I suspect Sarl is Kellhus' agent. That is why the captain doesn't kill him.  Remember he got the contract from Akka too.
He's insane because he knows he is doomed, and Kellhus is probably messing with his mind via dreams etc.

Lol, Sarl saying "sometimes the dead bounce" what if he's talking about himself and that he's someone like a pragma or something.  BTW, if the dead are bouncing, we could be in for some real surprises.  Serwa actually is Seswatha.  Kellhus is Nau-Cayuti.  Cnaiur was Sil.
