12 July for Amazon United states.

Not sure might have to cancel my pre-order from Canada and try and get it from the US.

Canada- https://www.amazon.ca/Great-Ordeal-Three-Aspect-Emperor-Trilogy/dp/1468301691

US- https://www.amazon.com/Great-Ordeal-Three-Aspect-Emperor-Trilogy/dp/1468301691

So much hassle to try and buy something...

Interesting.

Yeah, it's a damn shame, themerchant. I actually had a very enlightening (and saddening) back and forth with a redditor regarding the difficulties of actually purchasing Bakker in his country. It's a fucking heartbreak that the people who want to buy the book have such troubles doing so. Also, terrifying that Orbit UK seems to service more of the world's Bakker book-buying population than Overlook, in addition to likely being able to do a better job in North America as well.

This just threw a monkey wrench in my plans (in the UK). I'll have to double pre-order (in case they change it again ;')) and cancel what arrives later. Grrr.

Yeah i'm from UK as well and had a pre-order for the Canadian one, as i did it last time with WLW. However it'd not get here till end of July. Meaning i'd miss all the speculating (well missed the first load from ARC's) on threads etc.

I'll have to find another way.

Cancelled the pre order now. Let me know if you find a way to buy the book in Europe before you can get it in a 2nd hand book store in America.

I settled for the Canadian eBook, slated for the 12th as well, for my need-to-have-it-now fix. Then waiting a little while extra for the physical book is acceptable. Although for some reason I chose expedited shipping for that too so I'm not that patient after all.
I see no other stores offering it right now unfortunately.

How do you plan on reading the ebook? Does it work on UK kindle?

My kindle is registered in the United kingdom, so would need to supply a new address in Canada to be able to shop at their kindle store.

I dont get it, why not just buy it from amazon and ship it internationally? You'll have to pay the extra shipping cost, yeah, but at least you get the book. Is that not an option?

So it is an option. One we're aware of. However the shipping date has been moved back 2 weeks (see first post again) so might have to try and get it from America. Which is making it harder impossible (so far) to get the book within a week of release.

lol sorry for not paying attention.

I could order extras and ship them to you, not sure if that would save time and that would almost certainly be more expensive. But, i get free 2 day from amazon, so it might be faster.

Cheers for the offer, but after you suggested it, i went back onto Amazon (US) and retrieved my password etc, put in my address again and this time international shipping came up (it hadn't before) and i ordered it.

So actually i sorta wish you came into the thread earlier lol , i must have put in something wrong which stopped it from offering international shipping. Phew glad it was my fault i can direct my rage inwards again.

Estimated delivery: July 14, 2016 - July 18, 2016 !!! Nice as quick as can be expected.

Lol - the ARC readers have all quieted remarkably because many of them want to reread and I think we're all anticipating general release. But I mean, only the hardcores will order abroad, anyways, themerchant. There are plenty of people purchasing from Orbit UK who seem fine waiting til Sep 29th ;).

This might be an option

That's shipped from the US right? I'll see if their fees and shipping time is better, thanks!

Yes, it will work on any Kindle. Provided that you can order from the .ca website, which requires a Canadian address like you said. I just added an address (I think from Google maps), and placed my order. Never had issues before, just dont forget that you'll need to switch your address back to shop in your local store again.

Yeah from US mate.

I'd prefer to read a book version first, just a personal preference so don't mind waiting a wee bit extra for it. I'll buy the kindle version when it comes out in the UK.
