I nearly teared up from laughter at the Jerry-daycare, and Rick's jealousy of the alternate Rick that devised it
So, just caught the season finale this morning. I won't say disappointing because it was somewhat predictable, but a good episode nevertheless. Given how events unfold, I'd like to posit a crack-pot theory for season 3 episode 1 (or near abouts):
Evil Morty springs Rick from max security for no other reason then to continue his vendetta against him.
A few other things I wouldn't mind seeing in the next season, in no particular order:
- Morty's gazorpazorp son
-retarded Rick
-an appearance from Rick's miniverse counterpart
- certainly more that I can't think of right now, but rewatches should raise a few more
All in all, a little disappointed in this season. That's fine, though, I'm enjoying the show, despite the growing pains, and next season bids to add more writers to the team, which should be interesting.
As per the finale:
Why isn't Morty wanted for the customs debacle in the very first episode?

I don't think he ever got scanned. Once they learned it was the new scan that went 'ALL the way up your butt' they bailed.
