The White-Luck Warrior / Re: White-Luck Warrior & Sorweel?
« on: February 10, 2014, 05:05:04 am »
I don't know that Yatwer needs Sorwel to *kill* Kellhus, I'm thinking he's going to deliver that chorae at just the right moment to distract Kellhus just when the sword breaks.  IDK.  I'm still wondering if Kellhus hasn't fooled them all.  I'm wondering if whatever it is that the Consult do to produce a synthese, Kellhus would be able to figure out and improve upon.  Nerdaneling, now that I know what it means, Kellhus may be hanging out in a secret room in the Andiamine Heights surrounded by young gnostic sorcerers, producing a perfect replica in the north.

Diving headlong into crazy pet theories, this is what allows Kellhus to appear as a stork at Sakarpus and this same technique is what saved old moe back in TTT--Cnaiur only killed a dummy.  The twist!  Kellhus is not expecting Kelmomas to find his body, when Kel does, the WLW follows on his heels for the assasination.  Incoherent ramblins.

The White-Luck Warrior / Re: Speculation on the end of the Unholy Consult

I'm hoping UC ends with an epic scene of K using the gnosis+daimos+dunyain intellect to call something even bigger than a ciphrang to the battlefield.  NG vs the hundred?  Yatwer a temporary slave to K?  Actually, I bet that will be a little bit before the end.  I'm expecting K to dispose with Aurang, Mekeritrig, and Shauriatas and then have an intimate chat with Aurax deep in Ark's bowels.  (V) 0,,,0 (V)

The White-Luck Warrior / Re: Heramari Iyokus

Not sure if the idea has already been floated, but what if Iyokus has been dunyain all along?  I don't know if I can trust anything from the text that the dunyain have truly been in isolation for the last 2000 years, for all we know that's just the story that fits Kellhus' conditioning.  I feel like someone is going to be revealed as another dunyain in UC, but I was banking on the last surviving, insane scalper or Meppa.

The White-Luck Warrior / Re: Kellhus ultimate goal?
« on: February 10, 2014, 04:46:11 am »
Hmm, I had never thought of the goal of becoming a self-moving soul as distinct from becoming the God.  That's really interesting.  For my own part, I don't know that Kellhus' goals matter as much as his conditioning.  I'm wondering if one of the big reveals in UC is that he's been conditioned from birth forward to be whatever the dunyain/moe need him to be.

I can see the pointlessness of total ascension, but I don't know if it matters to K.  I wonder if part of his ultimate utility is the so-called 'madness' that the narrator continues to insist on.  If the Outside really is dominated by greater and lesser desires, and if madness is more or less equal to have desires, then the pragmas may need one of their own to develop a grand desire in order to fulfill their purposes: Kellhus.

He really wants to save the world or avenge Serwe or bring Serwe back from the grave or whatever--so long as he desires, he can accomplish their aims in the Outside.

Oh, will read.  About this "nerdanel" - what is that?  A google just brings me to a Tolkien reference.  Do not understand

I don't have anything to add about Moe's original encounter, but I have wondered if this is his end goal.  Ishual is invaded by Sranc, Moe is sent out to investigate, Moe returns with report that Sranc are a permanent and growing problem, Dunyain send him out to solve (perhaps with several other Dunyain), Moe decides that the only way to save Ishual ultimately is to destroy the Consult and ALL sranc, Moe sets up Kellhus to become/summon NG, NG somehow under Dunyain control, all sranc (and all derived) directed into the ark, seal the damn thing up.  Lol, idk

Hey all!  Longtime reader, firsttime poster.

Why would he want that?  What does the God even do?

I have no idea, but I wonder if it is a goal since the Dunyain are simply conditioned to master circumstances.  So long as they were in Ishual, that's all they mastered, but know that Kellhus is aware of the outside, he has no choice but to ascend as far as he can.

But I think that whatever Kellhus' goal it is going to be just part of Old Moe's pln.  Not even sure that Kellhus is in the North.
