The most objectively accurate POV was that Wathi Doll.
Ha ha ha. And the cat.
Honor the Niom? Niom is my middle name.

Thinking on it, Aurang may be the most "world-fact" accurate character, despite how little we see of him internally. He's certainly the oldest POV, by an absolutely gigantic margin, which only means that he was three to witness (be it first, second, or third-hand) what are other otherwise legends outside of Gnostic Dreams. He's also one of the few characters, period ,who both knows that the Gods exist and probably has a pretty decent understanding of the mechanics of Outside generally, Damnation most of all.

Then again, he we NOTHING else from a modern, ranking Consult member's POV, which is suspicious in itself, disregarding the fact that Aurang is evil as fuck, and more than a little twisted (bordering insanity, but he's an alien so whose standards are we talking about here).

Oh, and he's known as the Angel of Deceit. Surely there's some ancient musing about knowing the deceiver is knowing the deception itself or some shit.

The Angel of Deceit thing may be referring to his military prowess. He's certainly suckered the Great Ordeal into a bad situation recently.

I think you're right. Aurang is kind of bitter and gone-to-seed, but in terms of the nature of the world, he's probably the best voice we've got.
