YOU MUST TELL ME ... What else are you reading?

<< < (2/84) > >>

Wilshire:
The City and the City, China Mieville. Not normally a fan of the genere but I rather enjoyed Perdido Street Station, so I'm giving this one a whirl.

Cygnus... Vismund Cygnus:
I've been meaning to read some Mieville, but haven't gotten around to it.

The Kingkiller books by Patrick Rothfuss have been recent re-reads, and a re-read of Carlos Ruiz Zafon's The Shadow of the Wind, and The Angel's Game.

locke:
I just finished Warrior Prophet.

For whatever reason, reading the What has Come Before in TTT killed most of my interest in reading TTT right away.  dunno why.

So I started reading The Republic last night, I'm completely shocked it's so easy to read, and that it's sort of narrative-esque.

What Came Before:
LOL - I find most philosophy easy-reads. It's the goddamn thicket of proper interpretation, even of dissent, that confounds most.

Cygnus... Vismund Cygnus:
I found out about Bakker when looking for more writers who have dark without being dark for the sake of it, and avoid alot of the tropes and crappy dialogue in alot of novels I've read.

I do love me some flighty quick reads, but I'd like to find more meaty novels like The Aspect-Emperor series.
