Yeah I think it would make sense that Shae and Seswatha are still waging their own war through the millennium. More of a proxy war. The Mangecca where exiled by the Sohonc, which they destroyed with the NG, which seswatha (last scion) resurrected via the Mandate, which is now trying to destroy the consult. Mandate are controlled by Seswatha (Sohonc), Consult controlled by Shae (Mangecca).

As for the Scylvendi, I suppose it would either be clean shaven or none at all, not somewhere in between. I can't see the people of war caring much either way, but with their obsession with manlyness and their proximity to the North (i.e cold) I'd guess that its more likely that they have beards.
btw I'm wondering if we should make a Curated Artwork page with comments locked that has only the artwork posted (with author's title/description). It would leave this board alone completely, since the feedback and comments are important, but this board is progressing so quickly that some stuff might be getting lost.
