Gonna do what I can to keep this thread alive, so here's my latest offering...  I'm working on a more sketchy, sort of concept-type art style.  Hope you enjoy.

Amazing. I don't even see a problem with the size; we have reports of people breaking dragon necks with their bare hands IIRC. Which, even at this size sounds like a stretch, any bigger and it becomes a joke.

I think Wuttëat was described as being two elephants tall at the shoulder.  I assume that he would be the biggest of the lot considering he's the original, but I don't know if that's expressly stated.  So, I'm probably pushing it with the size of this one.  Anyway, it was a fun scene to work on.  Thanks for the feedback, Callan, Nskoghar and Madness!   :)

That was Ciogli 'The mountain', IIRC.

Non men keep growing - he used a cauldron for a helmet (as described in the false sun). He was probably taller than a house. In fact if the guy in the picture was Ciogli and dragons are as long as small sky scrapers are tall, it'd probably be to scale.

Quick concept sketch of the Aurang synthese (about an hour and a half).

Wonderful!  Makes me think this is what Cnaiur saw in TTT when Aurang is trying to convince him that Kellhus is a minor player compared to the Consult.  Really like what you did with the head: the eyes and the beard--sort of like a raven-lion's mane.  :)

Lol... wow, Somnambulist. I'm a fan of hand-drawn vs. digital manipulation so that just blew my mind.

Thanks, you three!  I appreciate the feedback.  I was definitely going for the horror angle, so glad I was able to convey that.  Cheers!

Awesome synthese.

I always think of that synthese as having the name Quoth.

More great stuff, Somn.  Bravo.

I cannot believe how well you bring my imagining of the Gnosis to life.
