Wilshire is completely right - if he wrote this in jest - we could easily do a Cast for general geeking and then specifically to pull apart the arcs.
Jeepers, I'm still trying to get a WLW Reread Cast going before all the Sloggers have read an ARC.

I'm unavailable on Tuesday evening, I think - and otherwise a week from today I leave for the weekend. And the following Tuesday is US release, a weekish after that is Canada, and then... Orbit UK, whenever.
You might be the only person in the UK with the book, SR ;).

Just wanted to drop in and say that I just started listening to the podcasts and they're great. Great Job.

So I made a poll. Anyone is allowed to suggest different times, though those are traditionally around what's worked - Sat/Sun earlier in the day for possibility of a feature by SR.

Though, if there is impetus for an unrecorded thing, it might be possible. Recorded casts are far better though :)

There is still the possibility of Monday 11th and Tuesday 12th. After that, I think the next Cast will be not be an ARC Cast if we wait much longer than that as everyone will have their official copies :).

Lol - all that ever works for Casts is throw as many people as possible at whichever days might work and see what happens. Scheduling these things is more work than the whole Cast event itself.

Yeah, I mean, Chats grew out of wanting to talk about the books and whatever else comes up but without the pressure of recording.
But the idea here was to capture the "ARC reader" perspective before general release (as one would like to assume - you'd hope - there are some differences and corrections between ARC and canon artifact).
I'm glad there are newcomers willing to participate :).

Tuesday-Thursday work well for me at the times listed in the poll. Thursday being the least appealing. I put in my vote for Wednesday.

Lol - they are fun. Consolidated some real enduring friendships therein. Probably got ourselves on some governmental watch-lists for a couple conversations crossing three different international borders based on context ;).

There are only three votes right now and only GJ declared which days worked for him above. What's the word, everyone?

Foolish me - one of those votes had been for Sunday but I don't know who was available. GJ and one other person have voted Wednesday specifically but GJ also said Tues or Thurs at the same time would be acceptable.
I'm unavailable tomorrow or Thursday for a Cast (though, I hardly need to be present).

Alright - so tentatively, Wednesday night at 7pm EST.
Basically, for newcomers to our ragtag amateur hour: whoever shows up is in. If we have enough people, we'll get a Cast done :) (three or more is best, aside myself or any of the regulars - no limit on participants, though, we had some eight-odd for The Thousandfold Cast).
