Hmm... my screensavers been Electric Sheep forever now. And I have my laptop set to sleep shortly after my screensaver would come on anyhow. And my background is a burning Toronto police cruiser - not that I think that level of anarchy very effective...

But Somnambulist's Horde could inspire a change soon.

Hello, lurker here. I did this portrait of Esmenet on doodleordie earlier today (the challenge was to "Draw your waifu"  ;D). It's not much, but I figured I'd put it out there since I haven't seen much fan art featuring her

Finished this tonight, the 'major battle' I mentioned before.  And my take on the Heron Spear.  Hope you enjoy.

Thanks! That new piece is epic, and your depictions of the different schools are amazing.

The thread that keeps on giving.
Welcome HangedMan, a strong debut if ever there was one.

It most definitely is. Thanks for posting TheHangedMan

Somna, I love the medium you are using, and another great post. Love the dragon in the background spewing fire :). I thought either Seswatha or Anaxphoros was on a Chariot... maybe I made that up though.

I often wondered about the particulars of the Heron Spear's shape. Why Heron, why spear? I decided on a gun-like device, but your deception of a staff is great.

Thanks, Wilshire.  I remember something about chariots, too.  Not sure he was riding one at the time he actually used the Spear, though.  Antique drive-by?   Anax was a gangsta, yo.  :D

Yeah, the Spear (like pretty much everything else Bakker) is both specific and vague.  It's one idea.

I like that one, mostly because it kind of lends itself to a "before/after" view.... Oh, wait, you say that in the description lol. Well hey at least you know you got your point accross :P.

The gills, the eyes, the clam shape, and the human head all look like they were grafted separately, mostly because they all look 'different'... I'm probably just seeing what I'm looking for though :P

I'm always wondered if this "anthropomorphic vocal apparatus" is meant to be similar to the Synthese/Nonman head, or even if it does more than simply speak Nonmen/Human sounds. Beautiful and horrifying, Somnambulist.

Lol - that's awesome, Somnambulist. Definitely reinterpreted what I thought of that scene. But real cool.

Good job, Wilshire ;).
