Bring your weird words here!
To kick us off:
Borborygmus - the sound your stomach makes, not growling, the rumbles and grumbles of gas moving around inside
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stomach_rumble
I think it can be used to describe noise in pipes too, but I can't confirm that.

Here's a cool one:
Ravel - to unravel

-
floccinaucinihilipilification (http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/floccinaucinihilipilification)

goddamnit that is awesome
reminds me of the part in the Dark Knight when Morgan Freeman flies out to Japan to meet with that one business man just to tell him that Wayne companies wasn't interested but didn't want to the businessman to feel that Wayne was deliberately wasting his time
the use of such a grand word just to tell someone that something is valueless, that would be devasting. i think if someone used it on me, i might have nightmares for weeks

Ravel is a fantastic word. Interestingl that ravel and unravel mean the same thing. In England we actually use the opposite noun and verb meaning of ravel as a colloqualism - "Ok lets get this meeting raveled up" "Ok lets ravel everything together and get on with it"

Anatidaephobia (noun) : The irrational fear that somehow, somewhere, a duck is watching you.
