Listening to Tim Hecker's new album Love Streams... pretty disappointing.

If you're not familiar with the ambient / noise genre you could check out Harmony in Ultraviolet by the same artist. Maybe you'll discover something you like.

I really liked his album with Aidan Baker, Fantasma Parastasie.  Baker has some good stuff under his own name too, along with his stuff as Nadja.

Jean Michel Jarre's new album, Electronica 2. So far listened to it only once, seems great as background noise to working (I can't work with music that is too distracting, especially if it has lyrics in any language that I know).

A collection of Vivaldi, Bach, and Handel on random because it calms me while I am continually frustrated in my attempts to learn maths.

My (old) Chef de Partie loved Deathgrips. My only rule is that if I provide the speaker I don't have to DJ. You'd be surprised what you hear from some people.

But I loved watching the servers freak out about Deathgrips :).
