Maybe try adding a little substance to your post, which you're surely capable of given the intelligence you've displayed on this board elsewhere, as it tends to be more useful for actual discourse than whatever this is.

My interpretation is that locke felt that the question posed in the title, and its inverse relating to making women characters posed in another topic, are equally ridiculous questions to ask. But, you're right, it's difficult to know for sure with such few words - which personally makes me file it under 'troll topic'. Meaning a topic meant specifically to irritate someone and specifically to avoid any real/meaningful engagement.

I chose to engage with an equally meaningless remark, in turn showing the ridiculousness of such a topic in such a place as this, compounded by the non-response by anyone else.

...I at least amused myself :P.
