Oh lord, I do always dread the Esmenet POVs, although I dread the Kelmomas ones more. I just get a bit bored when the story shifts to Momemn, as opposed to The Great Ordeal itself, or Ishterbinth, or wherever Akka and Mimara at throughout the books.

Although, in saying that, chapter 16 was my favorite chapter of the entire series, which surprisingly was at Momemn.

My favorite POVs throughout the books were definately those of Issiral and of Kellhus; Issiral's were just really fun to read from a literary standpoint, and Kellhus' were great because they were always so full of revalation.

In all honesty, I never even thought of if as not being literal; I just assumed the number was actually of significance. Hearing what you both said was actually quite the revalation (har har)

Obviously we are all aware of the Inchoroi's, and subsequently, the Consult's goal of leaving 144'000 souls on the world in order to sever the link to the outside, yet we only ever hear anything based out of Earwa; how many souls are left outside of the Continent?

Its fine for the No-God to leave 144,000 souls in Earwa, but what about the other side of the Great Kayarsus? How about down south, past Cingulat? Or west, over the seas?

Surely the world does not just consist of Earwa and a little more to the right of the Kayarsus where the tribes came from?

Hey guys!

Ive just finished my third read through of TDTCB-TWLW, and a  first read through (with more to follow, im sure) of TGO.

Ive been lurking on the forums for a few months now as a guest, simply because I haven't had a whole lot to contribute what with TWLW being so old, but now the TGO has dropped , I thought now was as good a time as ever to dive right in!

Never been involved in a book forum before, so if I breach Jnan at all, I do apologize  ;)
