Funny. I remember a couple of years back reading the westeros discussions I got the sense that most people bought the Dunyain principle of before and after to mean that folks did not have free will on Eärwa.

The opposite seems to me like a minority opinion among readers. I could be wrong, though.

He did mention publishing a complete edition of tdtcb on three seas. With how the sales of the series are going don't know if that's still happening.

Maybe one day if the series gets big you can publish a book of Dûnyain recipes and cuisine with artwork from somnambulist. I'd buy that.

It seems strange that the Dûnyain stumbled onto Ishuäl soon after it was constructed but then no one else did for the next two thousand years.

Was it really an accident or did someone tip them off about its existence?

I also wonder what makes a soul strong in that sense. But I can't help but remember that Bakker was asked on three Seas if Ciphrang are damned souls and he said that they are 'creatures of the outside through and through'.
