Legolas kills Paul Atreides with the sled G W F Hegel used as a child.

But wait, it was all just a dream!
I am a warrior of ages, Anasurimbor. . . ages. I have dipped my nimil in a thousand hearts. I have ridden both against and for the No-God in the great wars that authored this wilderness. I have scaled the ramparts of great Golgotterath, watched the hearts of High Kings break for fury. -Cet'ingira

Kellhus undergoes the Inverse Fire, or whatever the ritual is that grants the Consult their visions of damnation.  He is undaunted, there is a head on a pole behind him.

Mimara will view Kellhus with the Judging Eye and see nothing / absence / void.

Kellhus is revealed to be a Demon Ciphrang and Mimara kills him with her Chorae. His death leads to the rise of the No-God. The book ends with WHAT AM I?

Meppa is 'conditioned' and helps Kelly get back to the Ordeal in record time, using the Water.

EDIT: I see that one's been used ... hmm... As Serwa, Sorweel and Moenghus escape Ishterebinth, the surviving Non-men march on a final, doomed battle against the Ark, led by the Tall.

Humans (and Nonmen) are the 'spirits' and Ciphrang are the flesh-and-blood people!

Predictions? Not how I roll....

From my contribution to the "Crazy Speculation Only" thread:

So, the Great Ordeal finally reaches Golgotterath, right? And what do they find? Well, being Eärwan, they have no fucking idea what they're looking at. But, since the Inchoroi happen to be massively tweaked and generally fucked-up post-humans, Golgotterath happens to be the most awesome and excellent concert venue imaginable. The two horns of the Ark are rigged with mind-blowing PA speakers and the Inverse Fire is the ultimate bad-ass Jumbotron, which is showing a bewildering video promoting "No-God!", which turns out to be a cross between Slipknot, Metallica, King Crimson, Muse and Dream Theater. Just the heaviest, most intense musical experience possible. No wonder the Nonmen were weeping while watching the Inverse Fire! The Tekne rocks!

Well, perhaps not the most original, but always since I finished The Great Ordeal I've had this thing, perhaps a strong suspicion, that the Great Ordeal is bound to failure, and Kellhus has known it from the get go. Let me explain: As far as we know, Salvation is the principle that motivates his actions. Broad as it is, it could be or not interpreted in the same way the Inchoroi do. If Kellhus too, shares the same beliefs in Salvation, he may well be laying the ground bare for the arrival of the No-God, so this time his victory is undisputed and pretty much guaranteed. May as well be wrong, of course, but that's what my gut's telling me.

The prophecy about an Anansurimbor that will come back at the end of the world is actually about Kellhus' grandson (crab hand) not Kellhus himself...
