In the end we discover that the Logos does indeed have a beginning.
And an End.
The No-God is the Eschaton so it is the End of the Logos, and what comes before as well.

Serwa develops a crush on Sorweel but he won't reciprocate it because the Holy Deep and Immiriccas drove him crazy. So while she keeps trying to make a pass at him he's sobbing and muttering in Ihrimsu about Immiriccas' Erratic lover in the shadows. But in battle he goes completely batshit and carves through sranc Sibawul-style, screaming about how they are Vile imitations of Cunuroi perfection and raving about how Cujura Cinmoi was a fool for dooming his race. Sorweel then becomes new-Cnaiur after Serwa uses a Cant of Compulsion to try and sleep with him. And Moe-2 develops a phobia of Sorweel.
If Bakker hasn't written the story this way, he must surely go for a thorough editing!

Thanks for the review. The hype is now turning up to 11!

Where is written that Aurax gave the tusk to Angeshraël? I seem to recall that the Inchoroi gave the tusk to "the fathers of Men". This, if related in a mythical fashion, might refer to some forefather of Angeshraël. The concept of father of Men might have conflated different historical figures together. So, the continuity error (even if it exists) can be retconned  simply interpreting it as an obfuscation due to oral transmission and mythical interpretation.
Obviously if Bakker stated this in some interview/FAQ or so, then such a retcooning would be much more difficult.

I remember that is is stated somewhere that the Inchoroi were pissed off by the slowness of Men to react to the message of the it might be that it took various generations before it was really absorbed and metabolized as scripture, way too late for the immediate need of the Inchoroi.

Obviously all my memories on the subject might be utterly wrong.

P.S. After writing all this, I have actually found the relevant quote here, with no mention of either Aurax or Angeshraël, (
So the Inchoroi began giving them to the Men of Eärwa, hoping to incite them to rebellion. But the Halaroi had no stomach for rousing a feared, and most importantly, absent master, and so rendered the deadly gifts to their Nonmen overlords. The Inchoroi then looked to Eänna, where the Men were both more fierce and more naive. They gave the Chorae to the Five Tribes as gifts, and to one tribe, the black-haired Ketyai, they gave a great tusk inscribed with their hallowed laws and most revered stories–as well as one devious addition: the divine imperative to invade the ‘Land of the Felled Sun’ and hunt down and exterminate the ‘False Men.’

The Nonmen only rebuilt and reinforced the Gates after the first great migratory invasions generations later.

Nau Cnaiürti.
Anyway Cnaiür will unavoidably side with Proyas against the Consult, because of their kind of father-son relationship (which I had forgotten completely, until I reread the whole first trilogy this year). That's why Kellhus left Proyas behind while Saubon was a liability and was sacrificed.

Any speculation about Kelmomas? I hope he is dead and gone, but I guess he is actually alive and least as well as a crazy fucker like him can be.
Thinking on it, Kelmomas would be the right guy to convert the non-Scalded to cannibalism...he's already a pro in the field

"No need to cook the meat, folks!!"

Any new on the event? Any hints on possible dates, if any?
I am going to plan my trip to Canada very soon, and I would love to arrange it so that I can partecipate.

And apparently there exists a short sf novel entitled "The Lollipop Factory" almost completed, if I got it right

Are you interested? Sure I am!

Could you potentially go? I could...the fact is that I was planning a 2-week trip to (a small part of) Ontario and possibly Newfoundland, so this event could fit pretty well! My idea was to come to Canada the second half of August, but this could be easily moved to the first half or so if you provide me with the possible dates. Coming in July would be a problem I fear...just for the record I would be coming from the UK.

The one thing I absolutely hate about The False Sun is that they call Aurang, Aurang. Aurang is the epithet the Kuniuri gave him!—which is not a kingdom/language that will exist for many centuries. Surely they would call him Sin-Pharion, or the Umeri would have some other name for him.

I agree with that. I actually pointed out the "Aurang"  inconsistency in the comments, but I did not get any reply.

The No-God returns, Akka … I’ve seen him! He is as you said. Tsurumah. Mog-Pharau …
“Lies!” Achamian cried. “Lies to spare you my wrath!”

It is near the end of The Warrior Prophet...when Kellhus is circumfixed and tries to convince Achamian to help him.

Well the head on the pole could be Anarlû's

They did hoist Anarlû's head high,
and poured down its blood as fire,
And the ground gave forth many sons,
Ninety-nine who were as Gods,
and so bid their fathers
be as sons...

whoever Anarlû is

Author Q&A / Re: Mimara and false prophecies
« on: July 05, 2016, 01:17:05 pm »
I guess that a prophecy would be false if it has never been uttered by the alleged this sense I would define the Celmomian Prophecy a false prophecy if Celmomas never really made it. Even if the "false prophecy" is actually fulfilled it would still be false (maybe a forgery of Seswata, in this case?)

Author Q&A / Moe leaving Ishual
« on: June 26, 2016, 06:45:01 pm »
Why did Moenghus leave Isual in the first instance? The Sranc motivation he told to Cnaiur is a lie, unless there is something I cannot fathom in the darkness behind me....
