Title: Gwent online
Post by: Woden on September 18, 2017, 02:47:29 pm
Is anybody here addicted to that game/drug?

I mean:

The Witcher card game. Open beta now.

I started playing a week or so ago. It is a little bit different from the game in The Witcher 3 but very addictive - in my humble experience. Lol.

I'm online gaming impaired - is this a game you play online? Or download it? Play with others on internet or just against the AI?

I enjoyed doing the activities and side quests to grab the cards, and it was fun to play in game, but I'm not so sure about taking it outside of that.

Every play any other CCGs (Card Collecting Game) online? I was really into Elements (CCG on kongregate.com) and I got into Hearthstone (Blizzard's CCG) briefly a few years back which was pretty entertaining.

Yes, it's online. And there are thousands of people playing 24/7.
Now it's an open beta that works perfectly well.
You play mainly against other players on internet. I think that when the game will be released there will be a single-player campaign against the AI.

Neat, but call me old-fashioned, but I like my card games with actual cards.

And as invested as I am in Magic: The Gathering, that's my mainstay.  I am possibly looking to play the new L5R: LCG, since the investment is low and the game seems pretty neat.
