This is rather silly I know, but I really want to say thanks to Madness and everyone else who makes this board happen.

I never had the luxury of having people around me who I could talk to. I grew up without the internet so it was so much harder to find people you could have interesting conversations with.

This is not just random fun for me, it really makes my life so much more interesting. This board honestly means a lot to me.

I sound like a pathetic looser   Do not get me wrong!  I am a really content with my life at the moment, but this board really spices up my existence, nothing more nothing less

Thanks for bringing this up, Royce.  I second your sentiment.  As I mentioned in another thread, this is the only forum I use.  I generally despise social media (I realize this makes me a neanderthal), but love this "place."  So, yes, thanks to Madness, Wilshire and everyone on here.  Though I may not participate in every conversation, I read ALL of them, and enjoy it immensely.

Yeah, I'll second that as well. I don't use social media either but I do post here and on one other forum whenever I feel like I have something to contribute (which doesn't happen very often unfortunately). But I do enjoy reading the discussions here.

Yeah, I am right there with you Som. I tried facebook, but I just deleted the account after awhile. Social media never appealed to me, but here it is nice and you get to share these amazing discussions with a rather small amount of people.
Although Madness would most likely want to see this place grow bigger and bigger, I can see the charm as it is

I'm glad i found my way back here. Long long ago i signed up for the first Three Seas forum by SovinNai and his partner (I want to say Will?!) but i somehow lost touch.

I'm just glad that we are starting to see more conversation. Its great how one or two new people make the forum explode with activity. I hope that this forum and Madness make it into the Acknowledgment section of TUC. I know there are more people and posts on other forums, but this dedicated space (though smaller and less attended) seems far more important in my mind. If not TUC, then at least by the conclusion of TSTSNBN.

Right now we seem to be acquiring members like random asteroid collisions. I yearn for the day that we reach enough critical mass to draw wanderers in by our sheer force of gravity.
