The Unholy Consult / Akka's character development across the whole series

I wanted to talk of my point of view of that. IMO, nearly all of Akka's character development happened in PoN. PoN shook Akka so hard and changed his life in not a very long time which left Akka.... Numb for the next 20 years ( Yes, including TAE. ) . I would have loved it if we got a flashback to him just after TTT' ending. He literally did nothing after it in his life except pondering PoN's events. Imagine 20 years of your life passing as if they were a day. Nothing that you really care about happening in them. 20 years. Even Mimara did nothing but make him ponder more. She wasn't Esmi, he never knew Mimara before. I think that Akka was trying in TJE-TGO to see Mimara as Esmi 2.0 . He always saw Mimara with lenses coloured by Esmi. A very very good scene in TWLW, when Mim was telling him about the Anasûrimbor family, was one of the scenes that got me feeling for Akka again. To shake his emotional numbness, something even more important in his life needed to happen than the ending of TTT ( Kellhus changing civilization forever, destroying empires and traditions. The coming of the Harbinger of the Second Apocalypse. Kellhus being the most powerful sorcerer ever, his student. All his friends dying, or betraying him. Cnaiür's revelations. Akka's torture at Iothiah and finally, his transformation into a Wizard.) . Something like, the destruction of the GO, Kellhus. And the No-God's resurrection. I can't wait to see Akka being back on form. It saddens me that this masterpiece of tragic character development isn't appreciated more. Share my Akka love people.

The No-God / Möenghus The Younger. Consult or Humanity?

My personal theory from the Quorum: The Sclyvendi will side with The Consult to give us a PoV from inside The Consult. And maybe some of my new favourite characters, The Mutilated! The reason is that surly The Sclyvendi will not go against their God, to honour tradition at least. Moe however, will probably be much conflicted but I don't see much choice for him. Maybe he will betray the Consult later, but at the beginning, you can't save a whole army from the Horde 2.0 ( And after seeing Cnaiür shredded, I don't think the chieftains will keep their word.Though I think Cnaiür Ciphrang will do some shit. ) And besides, DON'T YOU WANT A CONSTANT POV THAT'S INSIDE THE CONSULT ??!

If you have read TUC, please spare a few moments to rate the book and review it on Amazon and/or Goodreads( even if the review is just a couple of words) . It really helps Bakker perhaps more than he himself might realize.And reviews convince people to buy these books, more sales makes TSTSNBN more possible.Most of the reviews for Bakker's books currently are: "The language is too complicated! I stopped at the first chapter. " or " I read the two prologues and nothing happened in them " or " TUC sucks because it isn't out. Shitty book, 1 star for it " The Zaudunyanni presence doesn't exist in Amazon and Goodreads' reviews. And that hurt Bakker's sales.

This thread's title may sound familiar to some. If you are one of the old names then definitely you remember 2014 summer, TWLW disscusions is heated as hell on the forum and boom.... Bakker have just finished TUC manuscript... The last book of TAE trilogy then there is only TSTSNBN left. There was that awesome short story The False Sun and an excerpt from TUC. It was a good time to be a Bakker fan. And then forum members and moderator Madness have just got the manuscript to read and provide critique. You all were excited as hell to ask him your questions and the answers were even more exciting and now MG also a forum member have got the manuscript. The one that Madness didn't get. History repeats itself. People of the Ordeal, plauge MG with your questions here and hopefully you will get answers that fullfil your heart's darkest desires. Non dramatic version : MG answer our questions about TUC please.

Hello guys,myself and Diurnal began playing Age Of Empires 2 online from a week and so far it has been freaking amazing. We want to see if anybody would be willing to join us. If you are interested, get the game from Amazon or Steam ( Diurnal can fill you out there, you need to have a specific edition to play with us ) and then I will tell you how to connect with us.For those who don't know the game it is a real time medieval strategy videogame and one of my top favs of all time, I heartily recommend it.You can search in the Internet to see more of the game.
