I wonder if R intended to have such a large glossary when he started this series or if it was in response to reader confusion on aspects of the story. It helped me quite a bit. Impressive size taking up a 1/3 of the final book. It would be cool to see some posts from those who suspect fallacies with certain entries.

My understanding is that it was larger, potentially much larger, and was cut down to the published version due to size constraints. This chopping was done partially/entirely without Bakker's knowledge, thus him being unaware of the Rape of Omindalea incident not being recorded in the series anywhere until this Q/A here post-TUC.

Also, I don't think much, if any, of the information exchange between the old Three Seas forums (concurrent with PON releases) ended up in the Glossary. Like Angelic Ciphrang for example. This to me indicates that Bakker did not let readers influence the information provided in the books.
