Title: Clive Barker
Post by: Royce on March 18, 2015, 09:05:19 am
Any fans around?  I am currently reading weaveworld, which I enjoy immensely. Not easy to describe, but I guess you could call it horror-fantasy. So far one dude has discovered a world or realm inside the intricate patterns of a carpet. Very strange things happen:)

I read some of his Books of Blood some time ago.  Remember having liked them.  Also, Imajica was good, but very weird stuff.  I guess you could call that horor-fantasy, as well.

Just finished Weaveworld and it was a fascinating ride. I will enter Imajica soon enough I guess.

I love Barker's stuff, matter of fact some elements of Bakker's writing like the Inchoroi remind me of Barker, wouldn't be surprised if he's an influence.
