Depends on how heavy the "coffer" is and how strong the cable is. It's possible that it is dangling off the Upright Horn.

It is but that doesn't mean it was done successfully. Ajokli doesn't seem very trustworthy to me.
I'll make my final interpretative decision once I get there in the canon artifact but as far as my reading goes so far I *still* attribute Kellhus' dialogue regarding "seeing himself" in the Inverse Fire and making "pacts with the Pit" to Ajokli.
I see no reason to think he conquers hell besides his stated intent to do so. Things didn't go as planned.
Kellhus conquers Hell (or perhaps has always ruled Hell).Does he?
Saubon's death in TGO was heartbreaking. "Don't listen to him!" indeed.
When the Ciphrang kills the Nonman and cannot find his soul afterward, i immediately knew that the Nonman had found oblivion. I dont even think its in doubt. Its possible. Even though, throighout the whole series we're told that it is not. This would also go back to Akka and CnaĆ¼ir's talk about madness and it leaking in and Kellhus saying thats not how it works, he thought there wasnt any cracks. Apparently, there are. Did anyone else get that he went to Oblivion also?
Regarding Aurang's laser antics, using a longdistance weapon is nice, but apparently not sufficient. However, was it Aurang that wielded that laser? Wasn't it an Erratic or another?
If Aurang is dead, Bakker really should have given us at least an awesome 1 full page sorcerous battle. Instead he gets one-shotted and pwned by Kellhus.
I get that Kellhus is fucking powerful. But Aurang has been around for ages and fought countless battles - he should put up more fight than Meppa.
Which I guess is par for the course with Bakker. He is a master of big picture battlefield description but has very few good individual duel scenes that I can recall.
Zeum.
The Osthwai Mountains although the eastern end presents problems.
Back through the Gates to Eanna or through Jekk.
Nilnamesh.
Okay i'm done. Zeum seems the only safe option but realistically mountains don't seem to present problems for Sranc as the Yimaleti was described as their mother/cradle or something.
If that were the case it seems like missing something obvious. It's not a coincidence he's in the Golden Room at that time. A skin spy found him and brought him to its Consult masters. Kelmomas/Samarmas, in fear of his/their/its life, tries to be useful like he tried with Kellhus and mentions how the powers that be can't see him. The Dunyain keep him there as a contingency, a calculated risk. If what he's saying is true they don't have to contest with their brother, they can simply dispose of him and use Kelmomas/Samarmas.
