I like infographics.
One Chart Showing Who Trades With Who In The World (http://io9.com/one-chart-showing-who-trades-with-who-in-the-world-1594765569)
EDIT [Madness]: Changed the thread title.

This is fascinating

-
Madness, yours is cool, but Royce's is incredible.
-
Love both of them guys!
http://fc07.deviantart.net/fs71/f/2014/070/a/5/map_of_the_internet_2_0__by_jaysimons-d781bst.jpg is a gorgeous looking map. Some of the details are really fun. Like MegaUpload is listed as "Destroyed by the Capitol".
-
Nice, SR. That's what I thought of as soon as I saw Royce's post too. Infographic thread?
-
That's a great one as well SR.
Madness, if you make it, they wil come?

Posted this elsewhere. Very interesting.

The ratio of vets to public service and banking seems to explain a lot.
-
The differences in having "fought" for what they have.
(Scare quotes because I'm sure business people would suggest that they also "fought" for what they have...)
-
Its no secret that most of the national budget goes towards military spending :P I don't think we need more vets. What concerns me is that there onyl really two groups that control the whole thing, vets and public service. Where are the doctors, where are the engineers?

infographs are cool

Neat.

That's the kind of visualization I was working with fall semester last year to map social demographics.

Check out that goldilocks zone right under the text. Bunch of smaller planets around the temperature/density of earth. I'm assuming the blue is water.
(if you didn't notice, there is a scale on the botton and right side)
-
Lol, Somnambulist.
First thing I saw, Wilshire :). Makes me happy. The adventure continues for something.
Some of those Kepler's are also like many times the size of Earth. Pretty kewl.
-
Oh, found Earth. Didn't see it before. Several plants right around it. Keplars and a Gilese. Very cool.

Saw this yesterday, almost posted it.
Lagrange points are my favorite, didn't realize we've had a handful of things sent to various ones.
-
You posted it here?
I figured this was Wilshire Clickbait. I really enjoy the use of gravitational pulls, as I'm not sure a lot of people realize that's how we travel through the solar system.

Website where that poster is being published. Its got lots of infographs.
And, no. I saw it on i09 late last night, but didn't click it because I've seen it before.

Great use of Tableau - what a cool program. Color of magic is on the list still. Some day.
-
I think it'll be hit or miss as to whether you like Pratchett. It'd be real cool if you did though.
-
Where are the doctors, where are the engineers?
Why they are vets, of course!
-
Not sure this belongs here but Wilshire and I were talking about Google's analytics and the ability to track when new words and phrases show up in common usage a bit ago.
