Any news on an audiobook release yet? The great ordeal audiobook came out the same day as print edition can we expect the same as the Amazon release for TUC?

No idea. Last year mrganondorf  pursued a bunch of that stuff and was able to get a hold of the production company to verify the release date prior to the actual release. I don't believe anyone has done that footwork and I haven't seen anything specific as of yet.

The Unholy Consult - Dec 15 (https://www.recordedbooks.com/title-details/9781501976865)

Based on that date and an anecdote Orton told MG and I about recording WLW, I'll bet they are just starting to record now.

Sorry to  revive an old post, but this a relevant update.  I just checked the link given in the previous post and the date has been updated.  The audio book version of TUC is to be released on Oct 1, 2017.  I'm so excited.  I've already bought the book in print, and I will be getting the audio version as well.

I'm thinking about buying the full set form audible (I've got some left over credits to help blunt the impact of that purchase)

Going to grab it. It'll be the first one that I purchased though so I'm not sure how it'll compare. I'll let you know in a few weeks probably.

I never heard one. The format it is not useful to me.

As far as audiobooks go, TUC is pretty mediocre imo. The reader does some overly dramatic capital A Acting, which is pretty unusual, and I don't care for it.

Lol, somehow more so than the previous Orton narrations?

I've never heard the like, and I've listened to a fair number of audiobooks.
Its like listening to Calculon (http://futurama.wikia.com/wiki/Calculon) do a reading.
