Thought these bad boys needed their own thread.

Post your questions and speculations about Kellhus' dangly appendages here.

Something to start things off that no one else seems to have realized;

Kosoter was very likely the other decapitant.  :o

The entry of Decapitants from the glossary appendix and the head in a pole for sure are not a simple coincidence.
But WTF is Kellhus changing his own head when he's in the mood?
Anb who the hell are the decapitants? Demons? Ajokli? Malowebis?

And finally if Kosoter was one of them he was easily killed.

You are right, Kosoter did go down fairly easy - but I think he took an arrow right in the mouth and probably into the brain?

Maybe not a decapitant at time of death, but what Sarl did with Kosoter's head, his demonic mien under TJE and his claims to have been to hell and the fact he was Zaudunyaini - seems possible he did the head swap boogaloo at some point.

Lol, some readers here have certainly argued that Kosoter might have been a Decipitant at least since Ciphrang-Malowebi's creation in TGO, if not before, as far as I remember.

Mimara would settle the question for me, if we knew she saw Ciphrang under the Eye as differing from just Damned people.

For instance, merchant quoted the portion of TUC where Mimara sees Serwa trying to save them and Mimara labels her a Ciphrang and this differs from her "demon" description regarding Kosoter and the Skin Eaters (where demon might just be a descriptive word). Which, by that argument, would make Serwa a Decapitant (personally I'll err on Mimara being unable to distinguish actual Ciphrang-Characters, or then authorial error should she, say, later recognize a Ciphrang-Character as a Ciphrang head on a body with the Eye).

I think, based on some of FB's comments regarding the Atrocity Tales, the cipher of the Decapitants is that Kellhus has possibly created a number of Ciphrang-Characters, up to but not limited to Himself and Malowebi.

That's possible, but maybe what Mimara saw was just a future ciphrang, one so fucking damned that in afterlife will become hunger and no fodder.
And the same goes for Serwa or Cnaiur.

Well, Cnaiur under the Eye is a little more explicitly noted to be "already a Prince of Hell," while Serwa is mentioned as a Ciphrang once without fanfare.

Cnaiur is described as a hero's soul as well. a large shard, if not for Moenghus.

I honestly don't see how that could be an issue on the host's or theme's end...

Kosoter being the other decapitant would mean that the Captain was a bound Ciphrang for the whole journey, right?  I don't think that can be right, because Mimara saw him with the Judging Eye, and she's presumably have seen the head/body mismatch.

Heh, maybe I should be more cautious about crackpots I simply haven't seen yet. The head switcheroo thing made me consider it.

So I threw out the possibility that Kellhus hid a decapitant in the OUtside, but what if he jumped to Kosoter's head instead?!  And who the shit knows what needs to be done to reanimate him?  maybe as a Wathi(misspelled?) doll?  Lol then Achamian can replace his old one AND tell Kellhus what to do.  Ninety-nine birds, one hundred stones.
Well, he no talkie good like me and you, so his vocabulistics is limited to 'TELL ME...' and 'WHAT DO YOU SEE?' and, 'WHAT AM I?' Exclusively in that order.

If you have the rotating gears on the right of the screen that offer you to choose your primary color when clicked, then you should block those (presuming you have AdBlock). They are extremely poorly optimized and have an inordinate toll on CPU. I can PM you the AdBlock filter code for getting rid of them.
