ok, I'll bite - I've seen some chatter here and there about Moe still being alive - what is the theory supporting this, didn't Cniur kill him with a chorae? Is the thinking it wasn't really him, but a person within another person sorcery of the Cishaurim?

There is no theory supporting this. Seriously, he's dead. Others might argue otherwise but most of those justification turn on over examining a few choice words (ie, the specific color noted in text when the chorae rolled over him....really?), or relying on deus-ex-machina type secret magics (thus my hyper-meta-super-psuke jab. I've seen suggestions go so far as to say he captured other souls, used them as armor, and the chorae somehow only killed his captured soul armors. Or that he wasn't ever there, or that it was someone that just looked like Moenghus using some kind of soul transplant or skin-spy style replacement stuff using secret psuke-jutsu. These are nor arguments for me)

Other arguments, as H noted, include him still being involved as a post-living entity, such as him ascending into some kind of uber-godhood, transcending death, space, and time to become the Solitary God... or some other such things. While I find these arguments more compelling than the latter, I find it unlikely.

It's not secret psuke-jutsu, Meppa disguised himself as Fanyal :D

It's like I've never even read these books - thanks, merchant.

This is why geoffro should have been responsible for his own poll ;).

Hmm, I think TUC might end with the No-God walking. So many will die, a great many.

I think that's what most/all of us are looking forward to: Kellhus vs Mog

Shae or Aurang dying would be too sad to bear.

Pretty sure Kellhus will suffer no rivals.  So, both necessarily have to die.  Hope we get a good Aurang soliloquy first though.

Had trouble deciding because "death" has become a bit fuzzy in Earwa ever since we saw the Wight-in-the-Mountain. If Cnaiur dies, could Kellhus or Serwe use the Daimos to summon his demonic soul back as a ciphrang?

If Cnaiur dies
I had an impression he died at Mengedda and now, in terms of rariry and paradox, is akin to skinspy mage.
Reverse-ciphrang, the World leaking into the Outside through the remnants of human soul.

I'm more excited a for a chat between Kellhus and Shae. Up for debate naturally, but to my eyes they're probably the most accomplished humans on Earwa.

Hear, hear! That would be VERY cool to "watch".

Was Cnaiur there? I thought it was him that noticed less birds over there camp, and when him and Proyas rushed to see, Gotian Saubon etc had already marched.

No, he wasn't, I've mixed Kyudea and Mengedda.  Shame on me. >:(
