Nothing exceptional, but trying something different.  A better artist could have done more with it.  Anyway...

I like it. It captures the scale nicely. I like the Kites of Mandate/Swayal hanging like beads very much ;).

Also, congrats, that's the first one on DA that I've seen you get comments on.

Awesome!  That is a really hard part to picture in my head.  Really like the sunlight above/behind the line--all kind of cool associations: good vs evil, backed by the Light, leaving light and plunging into darkness.

All great stuff guys. I've been ludicrously busy in the past few weeks but I really want to so contribute something...drawing a blank on what to do though (no pun intended). Any suggestions? Was thinking doing another God/Goddess, people seemed to like those.

Great work Som,

I'm the person who sent you the e-mails via Deviant Art commenting on your skills and asking if you sell any of your stuff.  Again, love the new stuff.  Keep up the good work!

Thanks, Madness, mrganondorf and Nil Sertrax!  I appreciate the feedback.  And good to see you again, FB!  If you go with one of the gods, I'd love to see your take on Ajokli.

I like this one a lot, especially the scale.

I think depiction of the major battles in WLW would all look great on a similarly zoomed out scale. its hard to imagine horizon to horizon sranc with a pocket of Men holding back the tides.

If you are taking requests, anything within one of the Mansions. Ideas: Cil'Aujas, any of its hall, or cavernous rooms, the skin eaters fleeing from the hordes of sranc, especially when they are descending down the clif/staircase and Cleric appears up top, the slave chamber/pits, the Medial Screw...
If you want something more intimate, any of the semi-duals we get. Miathanet/Inrilatas, Kellhus/Skin-Spy, Akka/Nil'Giccas, Akka/Mimara surround by sranc in their cringing behind wards, Kellhus/Horse-King just before he stabs him.

If you want more I got more :D

Cheers, Wilshire!  I'm working on one at the moment which might qualify as a major battle   ;)  It's taken me a couple of months, but I think it's coming along nicely.  Might be ready soon since I recently got exited about it again.  A few of your suggestions have got me thinking, so thanks for that!  I'll have a think and see if I'm inspired.  :)

What kind of scenes are the most interesting for you? Big scenes with lots going on, small ones, quiet ones pre/post battles, ones in the middle....

Kellhus sitting on the Skiotha's barrow surrounded by the dead ;) ok I'm done.

Thanks, Madness.  I had a few comments on some earlier pics, but nothing for a while.  It's a big community on there, and I wonder how people's stuff gets seen at all, tbh, unless it's specifically being sought out, or pimped out aggressively.  Been meaning to look into it, but haven't yet.

I guess it just depends on how well I can visualize the scene in question.  If I can think of a cool perspective or composition, and it's within my ability, I might try some sketches to see if I've got the 'feel' for it or not.  I have half a dozen or so scenes partially started but have abandoned them for one reason or another.  Either they've outrun my skill or my interest, or both.  I have so little relative time to devote to these that I really have to be excited about it to take a scene to completion (or at least a satisfactory result for me).

Entirely understandable. I imagine these things take a lot of time and effort, and its really just not worth it if you lose interest.
