Hello, everyone. New guy in the House (Primordial).
I see lot of good stuff here, I'll be busy reading/lurking the old and new topics, lol.
I have just finished my last reread of the whole saga (the slog of slogs, boys) so I'm waiting for TUC like a Skin Eater his dose of qirri.

Hello and welcome! :)
I have just finished my last reread of the whole saga (the slog of slogs, boys) so I'm waiting for TUC like a Skin Eater his dose of qirri.
I think you'll find there are still quite a few people in that same situation (me included). ;)

Awesome, Woden. Glad to have you here. Feel free to post/resurrect any threads you like.

Welcome to the Second Apocalypse, Woden. Also, if I have it right, great name, Norse mythology was my second great awakening as a child after Aztec religion.

Thanks for the warm welcome, guys.
Mythology (in general) is since childhood one of my major interests (another is History), Madness. I still remember with awe the discovery of all the good old stuff about the Olimpic Gods and later all the Indo-european mythos - thanks mainly to Frazer and Dumezil.

Yeah, after I dropped out of high school, a couple friends and I pirated basically the entire library of The Teaching Company lectures and I immersed myself in mythology, advent of civilizations, and, weirdly enough since I'm not the space aficionado that Wilshire is, Cosmology.
But the kernel of it all, for me, started in elementary school with a project on Aztec sacrifice. That may well have been the first crack in self-awareness for me.
Hope your TUC arrives soon, friend. May Overlook suffer Damnation for moving the Canadian date for my canon artifact to the 25th.

Welcome, Woden.

Howdy and welcome! I would think of something profound to say, but don't think I've earned it yet, still consider myself to be a newbie.
