Why does Serwe see halos around the hands of the skin spy that looks like Kellhus?
-
I think it's just that the haloes are in her head.
-
Like Kellhus thinks to himself when he looks at his hands in Kyudea - it's the light of delusion.
-
I think you both are wrong.

Maybe the haloes in general are real but the ones she sees on the skin spy are fake?
I'm guessing this is answered in TGO?

Hey guys, this is the Author Q/A. Try to keep the discussion to a minimum here unless the questions is answered. Plenty of other places available if you want to keep going elsewhere.
-
just FYI, RSB, the haloed hands around the skin spy are one of the most contentious topics of debate over the years and are often used by many/most readers as the ultimate evidence that Serwe's POVs are worthless! For many readers, this event "proves" that she is nothing more than a WOMAN who doesn't know anything and is just a stupid deluded ignorant primitive idiot--"hahah what a moron!" sort of thing.
So we are all extremely curious about this particular event.
-
Haloed hands around Sarcellus? Do you have the relevant passage at hand? I can't believe I missed or disregarded that!
-
It's in The warrior prophet when Cnaiur flees the battle and stabs the skin spy, Serwe sees the Halo's on the skin spy who pretends to be him.
-
As of the wlw we don't know what the haloes around Kellhus' hands mean, correct? Besides all the theorizing.
So I can see why Bakker doesn't want to answer this yet.
