So Saubon's shieldbearer the Holca, is he a decendent of the Holca from the knife of many hands. Or do all Holca have this rage mode. Because during my reread it seems he "hulks out" (Holca's out?) Right as the bashrag attacked.

I really need to do more research but I'm thinking Kel changes the outcome of various things the assassin was originally predicted to do. If I remember correctly in the past books the WLW kills the empress with a blade or some way but as we find out that never happens. I think that because Kel intervened. Like when he walks into the private meeting between Esmi and the assassin, I think Esmi was going to die that night but his entrance prevented it. That's why that night he dreams of that exact death.
Again I do need to do research.
And Kel at one point refers to himself as the greatest Hold Aspect Emperor and say they death of his brother and uncle Madrid him great. Maybe the next series???? I like it

At no point before the face changes does she mentioned that she was not talking to faynal. She thinks she is talking to Faynal the. The face changes. Back in Tdtcbf meeting with Xerius the hologram used didn't look like flesh. It was like a hologram, moe's face was under and at all time visible.
But what Meppa did was on a skin spy level of disguise.

Kinda but moe's version was like a hologram over his face. Something that was obviously not his face. But what Meppa did was a full disguise, Esmi thought she was talking to faynal the whole time.

I'm on my first listen-thru on the audio book. The first amazing thing  I heard was Meppa changed his face. Esmi for a second thing he is a skin spy before the water hits.
This has huge implications, because that means the cisharim could change their faces this whole time and would explain why the Consult wanted them destroy by the first holy war.

I laughed aloud at Cnaiir in TGO. He just loves the sound of his own voice. Lol give loves to give a barbaricly poetic mouthful of a paragraph to get his simple points across. He's a real dark comic also he says one great line when he slaps Akka. Something like "what do you think this is? A reunion of old friends?" Lmao cnaiir I see that age hasn't dulled that senses of humor you have.

Me too! My first read thru I thought it was gonna be revealed that Akka had molested one or both of them. Because Akka always seemed to push his own past away and focused on Ses. He always seemed like he was avoiding certain thoughts.
He does call a number of boys beautiful and if I remember correctly at one point he thinks Esmi has young boyish features.
