According to i09 these are the "most popular physics books ever written". Though potentially a rather bold assumption, from what I heard Richard Feynman was nothing if not a brilliant man.

A good lecture and a book (or script) for such a lecture are worth a lot...especially for students. To enter the field of physics (or math) on an university level is always a big hurdle to jump so a good book is a big help. Unfortunately there aren't that many good entry books.
Now, i am not sure this is a good entry work here... i haven't read it all (yet? ) ...but hey, it's for free so one can't complain, right?!

There were some pretty glowing reviews/comments on the article. Some said that his lectures were more heavily attended by students who had already taken the course, or even graduate students, because he was such a great lecturer. I feel like anyone can learn anything with a good enough professor/teacher.
