Love these schoolmen drawings.

Any chance you'd want to do any of the bigger schoolmen battles? Like Akka's run in with the SS at the Library, or Akka vs. Iyokus or Akka demolishing the building looking for him. Elazarus vs Indarua's Water Bearers. Kellhus over Shimeh.... These are the images that haunt my dreams, now in black in white renderings a la  Quinthane

And cue Kellhus getting skewed in Momemn while the Ordeal dies at Dagliash.

That would be poetic at least. Much better than him sacrificing himself to somehow save the Ordeal at Dagliash, though if he did that then they would almost certainly fail at Golgotterath which would be deliciously ironic. Either way.

They may also be the largest unknown quantity in Kellhus' equations, which is significant.

More crackpottery.
Moenghus is Mimara's dad.
She really is Anasurimbor!

We know he moved through Nansur at the start of TDTCB.  Sorcery can be used to disguise.  We know Esme is good stock...  Age is right.

Are you sure the age is right? I can't remember her age or when Moe was around.

It does give credence to the idea that Mimara is the Harbinger, rather than Kellhus (though for me personally I don't see why that is important). Way more interesting is, if you believe that the Anasorimbor line has some Nonmen in it, then Mimara might have some. Her and Akka are awfully close to Ishterebinth, and Akka is wearing the Dead Kings armor. We already know that she had some strange affect on Cleric (because i cant spell his previous name), and with the King's armor, I bet there will be some strange scenes with Nonmen in their future.

It would be awesome if Mimara was partially Dunyain. Maybe being abused at a whore house for her entire life severely stunted her Dunyain-like abilities. She is also of the Few, which I am not convinced that the trait is not somewhat genetic. (Schoolmen are not allowed to have wives, so no one is tracking trait anyway).

Yeh, something I wondered about too, Locke.  I think K would definitely know all it is possible to know about the nonmen.  His warning to Proyas suggests he is quite familiar with them already, inasmuch as we can trust that.

Another thing, are the Cunoroi are even important to the Ordeal?

I'd say that the Quya are a major factor. I'd guess they could give Kellhus and his meta-gnosis a good battle. A chorus of Quya would be terrifying and could probably decimate an entire gnostic school. Meaning so pure...

As for the rest... Well, we saw what a few bashrag did. The Ordeal can kill an infinite number of sranc, buy anything else seems to tip the favor away from them. A small platoon of Ishroi could open up a hole in the Ordeal's defenses, which could have devastating affects.

So I would think that, while they may be small in number, the Cunoroi could play a vital role in the success of failure of the Great Ordeal.

I can see it a bit in that last picture on the site. Interesting observation... Though Kian is a dessert land which suggests its near some kind of equator, rather than near the south pole.

Very true Galbrod, this series seem to like the "history repeats" theme. Though Kellhus' stabbing seemed a bit less premeditated, but I'm always struck by the similarities of the WLW's visions and the "visions" granted by the probability trance.

Thats a good point. I find it hard to believe that Seswatha would place the fate of the world in the hands of someone else, unless he absolutely had to (i.e chorae).
