Title: TSA Halloween
Post by: Wilshire on October 31, 2013, 12:51:29 pm
Has anyone dressed as something TSA related for halloween? I haven't, nor do I have the creativity to make something of my own, but I thought maybe someone here might have.

Or, if you could, what character would you go to a Halloween party as?

Lol - I think in the related art thread, Baztek and I decided that the number of furry imitations of your literary works on DeviantART determines your own success as a writer...

I'd hazard the Halloween costume is the same sort of thing... fuck.

But if I could wear it and actually awe the people I was with: Cishaurim, obviously.

EDIT: And wicked mask, Quinthane.

I tried to get my girlfriend to be Esmi, my son to be an "Inchoroi" (just a black full body onesie that had 1" letters reading "I am Inchoroi" on the front/back), and I was going to dress up as my interpretation of The Nonmen.

She was all for it until I described what the Inchoroi are.  Now she is going to be a farmer, he is going to be a cow, and I am pissed off.

;D Thank you for the silver lining Wilshire.  She is going to be terribly confused as to why I am enjoying my costume now.

Quinthane you're avatar pic made me think of a wonderful costume to wear to a party. Take a severed human head(fake) and braid it into a prodigious beard(fake or real). Tear up your cloths and smear dirt and blood(fake or real?) over them and whisper disconcertingly to yourself all night, while periodically screaming out rules of the slog.

You're sure to make a lot of friends this way.

so i changed avatars to another one that might inspire. simply grow out your hair and beard to hermit length, gain 60 pounds, strip naked and storm the neighborhood streets screaming "Iyokus!!"

(if you have friends that'll follow you about with high-powered flashlights and laser pointers it'll help. lodging a flashlight in your mouth that'll shine out when you speak/sing is ideal....but be sure to have your parents check it for razor blades before you put it in your mouth.)

For a party, shave your head, color your skin white and go as an Erratic nonman Ishroi. Then you have a tremendous amount of gravitas as well as a built-in excuse for whenever you make a mess or forget someone's name. If something exceedingly funny and/or traumatic happens, cry "YES! I WILL REMEMBER".

If the party is expected to get really wild, you could prepare similarly but instead go as a Sranc (preferably of the domesticated, house-broken variety).

Or, join up with two others similarly dressed, tie yourselves together tightly, get a big club and go as a Bashrag. Might be complicated when you all get drunk, though.

A new year, a new TSA Halloween.

Has anyone picked out their costumes yet?  If so, what are you dressing up as?

Any good ideas for people who are inspired to represent Bakker and The Second Apocalypse?

How would you go as a whirlwind?

How would you go as a whirlwind?

Tape a bunch of black and grey streamers all over your body varying in lengths from 1 foot to 3 foot.  Then have someone follow you around with a battery powered fan, waving the streamers everywhere...

Then either you or your fan-guard needs to periodically yell "WHAT DO YOU SEE"?

My Quya costume mentioned in another thread:

Nil'Giccas
Purple shirt/pants to represent the Mark, solid white mouth guard for fused teeth, bag of ashes for the Qirri. If possible, get a chainmail shirt to put over the purple t (a bit rusty would be preferable) for the Nimil.

Got mine all picked out:

billowy robes would be a good start for a schoolman costume

draw a frowny face on each cheek to get started on your bashrag costume
