I wonder if Bakker is aware of this.

My thought is to simply lock it all up and people can read the threads. Some of the ARC readers that I've communed with think that we should open it up and let people post (but if I was going to do that, I'd probably just move those threads to TGO subforum).

Would you give someone access if they don't mind spoilers, won't talk about it, and probably won't read the book? It's cool if you say no, of course.

Normally I would say it's too spoilery but I personally don't care.

This one is reasonably priced but I don't think it is worth it any longer, by the time it arrives the book will be out in about two weeks.

Yeah, I thought about buying one too but having never bought anything from eBay I couldn't count on the book reaching me before August. I've had things delivered for me before where 'two weeks' became two months. Same thing applies for all the giveaways.

Maybe if this was the original TUC I would have paid a minor fortune to have it arrive in less than a week (assuming that it's possible with eBay). But I feel like reading TGO and not finishing the story would be worse than not reading it at all.

Wert usually posts on other forums (besides westeros) just to promote Bakker or his own blog. There is no need for him to do that here.

Very nice. Just to be clear, this is entirely written by Wert from previous books and TGO, right? Only Bakker gave him some info about the locations and names of the Mansions?

Yeah. It's fine mate...

You all familiar with the other authors on there? Because the only one I've read (or even heard of) is Adrian Tchaikovsky.

Yeah, and seeing as Sansa has told Jon and the rest about this and they seem to have bought it I'm guessing it's going to create some problems between Jon and Sansa later once they get fucked by LF.

I had lost interest in GoT around season three/four when the show became a torture porn fiesta. But seeing as the end seems near and things are actually being revealed my interest has been renewed somewhat.

Why didn't you create a new thread when you posted this on the other site?

Anyway, I'm sure this will include Bakker's a Crack in the Wall that he mentioned once. I wonder if it's a tsa story.

Was it confirmed at some point or is that your guess?

What littlefinger tells Sansa about blackish taking revrrrun or reuniting some army is a lie, right?

I take it this is an instance of what comes after determining what came before? Or something else?

Regarding a Kellhus POV and other questions I did not answer totally honestly over the past two years, ask yourselves: if you'd been in my position, would you have betrayed Bakker's trust? Because for me that was a non-starter. And ultimately, in regards to teasing vs. spoiler, I want you all to live Bakker's words for yourselves.

I dislike the idea of the "Noble Lie." But I did what I could to honour my position as Bakker's friend, student, and fan - I wanted to excite the fandom, not spoil you.

I mean you could have avoided the question altogether... like you did with so many others.
