Saints are 6.5 point favorites.....
What a game. Definitely the best one of the weekend. Gotta give it to Carolina playing with so much heart, with Cam getting beat up all night and taking his own face shield to the eye.
Kept me in the running though!
PHL, NE, MIN, PITHow about the Browns having a parade for going 0-16? I thought it was brilliant.
I can't imagine the sheer level of nihilism it takes to have a 0-16 parade. Love it!
Well, Tleilaxu, "changing one's mind" is clearly an act of will and requires some kind of motivation, regardless of intelligence. I'm pretty smart, and I've changed my mind on the importance of religion, the aesthetics of rock music, and the designated hitter rule.I think it just means that intelligent people are just as blind to themselves, on average.Quote35.I knew it!
Intelligence doesn’t make someone more likely to change their mind. People with higher IQs are better at crafting arguments to support a position—but only if they already agree with it.
Does he mean that these people are only better at crafting arguments for positions that they already believe in? In other words, is their prior belief necessary for the creation of the arguments? Or is he making an intentional point about motivation?
Holy shit that Mariota block to pick up the first down and win the game.
I'm already wrong on my predictions!

You wouldn't say, for example, "You can look at the painting as an accumulation of paint, or you can not." You would say, "You can view that painting as an mere accumulation of paint and you can view that painting as a landscape."Viewing it as a landscape does not change the fact that it's an accumulation of paint, with all the implications of being an accumulation of paint.
