There is the dark mode, which I think you might prefer, H, I just don't know that it's part of the individual colour scheme choices.

Seems to only have a "light theme" and then two other ones that are basically the old layout, unfortunately.

Yeah, unfortunately, it's looking to be a toggle on the admin side, rather than an option for individual members.

I'm not really digging the new format. Doesn't seem to be mobile-phone friendly. But I am coping. Just figured out how to modify a post.....I notice that if you tap the edit icon (between the delete and quote icons), you hit a dead-end.

Seriously though, it's fine, but Beardfisher is right about the mobile un-friendly-ness. How do I try other themes/colours? Can't seem to find it anywhere in settings.

Hmm, thats disappointing. I noticed it wasn't super mobile friendly - and that was a huge reason of changing.

Is there an easy way to switch it to the desktop site?

To each their own, as per usual. I've heard a couple people prefer this theme's mobile browsing. H provided one option but I'm checking into making sure our Tapatalk still works, which is the best way to access the forum on mobile.

That's weird about the "Modify" button, BFK, I did not have that problem when I tried on my phone this morning.

On the tapatalk topic... I used to use it but the ads were painful, and it was buggy as hell. Much preferred the "full" forum view on mobile. This new style uses an enormous amount of real estate for things that aren't actually content.

PS - thanks to H for the settings help! The SMF default curves basically returns it to how it used to be. I'm happy now
