Iëva's age (and death) was retconned, as the TUC glossary gives her date of birth as 2112 and her date of death as 2140. I'm not going to lie, this disappoints me quite a bit. It's not, of course, that I
liked the idea of a 8-year-old girl being forced into a marriage, but a younger Iëva made for a much better story in my opinion. She could be read as a more morally ambiguous (and interesting) character, a "victim making victims" like H put it, instead of just a wicked and jealous wife, and now she's even been retconned as the older one (by 7 years!) with Nau-Cayûti as a child groom. Maybe I was reading too much into the date given in TWLW, but I still preferred it to this one.
And if she was indeed executed for Nau-Cayûti's murder as is now stated in the glossary, then how could she have been around to poison En-Kaujalau in 2141? Slow-acting poison?

This seems to be like a retcon that really wasn't needed, her death date could have still been 2141 or 2142 so that this supposed murder could work.
