Introduce Yourself / Hello!
« Last post by Unrepentant Schoolman on January 14, 2019, 02:17:21 pm »
Hello all ... My name is Kabir Singh (Unrepentant Schoolman).

I have been a reader for a very long time but I just finally finished the Unholy Consult.  I started reading it when it was published but life happened and it got buried in a pile of books to be read later and I finally got back to it and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

I live outside of Sarnia, ON in a town called Camlachie. If Zaudunyanicon is still a thing count me in.

I have many things to discuss with you all about what I consider to be the greatest epic fantasy series written.

Apparently something Bryan Bakker cooked up since Zaudunyanicon. You can purchase officially (I would assume, as Som is receiving a percentage of sales) prints of SpiralHorizon's art.

We're giving feedback on the layout - considering Bakker's old site nor his blog ever listed TGO and TUC for purchase.

But...

You can go to "Media" at the bottom of the page and then attempt to navigate the playlist of nipped and tucked videos promised from Zaudunyanicon (finally!).

Author Q&A / Re: Skin-spies...?

According to Gaƶrta, when talking to Kellhus in TWP, they are ancient. While the Mandate believes they are recent Tekne creations, from the past 300 years. Which explanation is correct?

Maybe both? Their simple intelligent sparks could be awaken, conscient and present since the times of the crash or even earlier than that. But their chassis, for the lack of better word, is a later invention.

I won't wonder if they are just a repurposed subsystems of the Arc, which were just hanging from some forgotten wall for millenia until some mangaeccan intern stumbled upon them by chance.

I did say it belonged in a T-shirt, so I'm going to nominate Wilshire's "No one hates like a Scylvendi" quote as potential T-shirt material.

Also, MSJ is right - "War is intellect" needs to be on one as well.

Malowebi also has many great T-shirt worthy quotes, but I need to hunt for the best ones before actually mentioning one here, in case I forget something.

My ideal TSA t-shirt would just have a graphic of the golden Horns of Golgotterath. Could be small or could cover the whole shirt. Maybe no text needed at all. Would have to make sure that one of the horns is appropriately canted. Don't know who would be up to designing such a thing though.

Q! Som! You're up to bat!
